Our oldest daughter began taking violin lessons in March. She loves it! Bad news: her teacher is moving! *GASP!* Mrs. Jenkins is a wonderful teacher and a classically trained violinist so we are sad that we will be missing out on such great instruction. Luckily, we think we have located some teachers near-by so Hannah can continue her studies.

Mrs. Jenkins included Hannah in the annual recital last weekend. She was thrilled, of course, and even more thrilled when she got her "Great Beginnings" trophy.

I love music but have never had the discipline to practice an instrument. Case in point: I took piano lessons for 6 years and I would be lucky to play "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" without missing a note! Let's hope our little muse will do better than mom!
